In accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of Decree No. 430-17, nationals or residents of the Dominican Republic and foreign diplomatic and consular officials accredited in the country, may opt for the reimbursement of the Dominican Republic Tourism Card. included in air tickets issued outside Dominican territory.
As a requirement to opt for the refund, you must present the following documents:
- Copy of the passport, which contains the page with the general data of the holder.
- Copy of the air ticket with the breakdown of the fees and taxes charged.
- Copy of the residence card or valid visa, if applicable.
- Copy of diplomatic accreditation in the Dominican Republic, if applicable.
To request a tourist card refund, you must complete the Tourist Card Refund Form.
