Involuntary Refunds

In cases in which Copa Airlines is responsible for the disruption of a trip due to attributable causes, for example, mechanical failure of the aircraft, maintenance, logistic problems with equipment, among, you may request a full or partial refund of the ticket, as applicable.

  • Only applies to partially used or unused tickets.
  • In case you wish to request a refund, it is important that you know that the refund will be granted to the person who paid for the air ticket, after they present a proof of purchase (invoice or credit card).
  • In order to request a refund, you must request it where you purchased the ticket or complete the Refund Request Form
  • The processing time for a refund depends on the means of payment used when purchasing the air ticket.
