Reservations for passengers, children, and infants

You can book an airline ticket for yourself or anyone else.

To make a reservation for someone else, enter their name in the Passenger Information section. If your own name appears, replace it with the name of the passenger for whom you are making the reservation. Likewise, if your ConnectMiles number appears, remember to delete it and enter the passenger's ConnectMiles number instead.

 

Up to 8 passengers

On copa.com, you can make a reservation for up to 8 passengers in a single transaction.

 

Up to 9 passengers

A single booking reference (PNR) can include up to 9 passengers. If you want all 9 passengers under the same booking reference, you must contact the Call Center.

 

10 or more passengers

Reservations for 10 or more passengers are considered group bookings and must be arranged through the Call Center or one of our Sales Offices.

 

ⓘ Infants travel on an adult's lap and do not occupy a seat. Therefore, they do not count toward the 8 passengers who can be included in a single reservation.

 

If you buy tickets directly on copa.com for 9 passengers, we recommend splitting the booking into groups of 4 and 5 passengers, ensuring that children and infants are on the same reservation as the adults.

 

ⓘ For large groups, the lowest fares may not be available for every passenger due to seat availability.

 

Infants · 0 to 23 months

• Passengers from 0 to 23 months old are considered infants.
• They must always travel with an adult.
• If an infant turns 2 during the trip and a round-trip infant ticket was issued, the fare difference must be paid for the return flight, in accordance with Civil Aviation regulations, because a seat is required from that age onward.

 

Children · 2 to 11 years

• At Copa Airlines, passengers from 24 months through 11 years of age are considered children.
• The child fare is a percentage of the adult fare, as specified in the fare rules.
• To get a quote or buy a child's ticket, you can book on copa.com, contact the Call Center, or visit one of our Sales Offices.

 

 

Depending on the number of passengers in your group, the lowest fare may not be available for a particular flight due to seat availability.
