Can I make a reservation for someone else?
You can book a ticket for yourself or any other person.
To make reservations for other people, enter their name in the section Passenger Details. If your own name appears, overwrite it with the passenger's name. Likewise, if your ConnectMiles number appears, don't forget to delete it and replace it with the passenger's ConnectMiles number.
How many passengers can I include in a single reservation?
- On copa.com, reservations for up to 8 passengers are allowed in a single transaction.
- Infants travel in the arms of an adult and do not occupy a seat; therefore, they are not counted among the 8 people who can be included in a single reservation.
- Up to 9 passengers can be included under the same reservation code (PNR). If purchasing directly on copa.com, it is recommended to split the reservation into groups of 4 and 5 passengers, ensuring that children and infants are included in the same reservation as the adults. If you wish to keep all 9 passengers under the same reservation code, you must contact the Call Center.
- Reservations for 10 or more passengers are considered group reservations and must be managed by contacting our Call Center or visiting any of our Sales Offices.
For large groups, lower fares may not be available for all passengers due to seat availability.
What are the travel conditions for infants and children?
Infants (0 to 23 months)
- Passengers between 0 and 23 months of age are considered infants.
- Infants must always travel accompanied by an adult.
- If the infant turns 2 years old during the trip and the ticket was issued as an infant round-trip ticket, the fare difference for the return segment must be paid, in accordance with Civil Aviation regulations, as a seat is required from that age.
Children (2 to 11 years)
- At Copa Airlines, children are considered passengers from 24 months up to 11 years of age.
- The child fare represents a percentage of the adult fare, as established in the fare rules.
- To quote or purchase a child ticket, reservations may be made through copa.com, by contacting the Call Center, or by visiting any of our Sales Offices.
Can my flight options with lower fares be limited by the number of passengers I'm traveling with?
Depending on the number of passengers traveling in your group, the lowest fare may not be available for a particular flight, due to seat availability.
