Can I carry products purchased at the airport in my carry-on Baggage?

We allow you to transport on board the aircraft the items purchased in the airport duty free shops. These items are considered personal items, and each passenger may carry one personal item in addition to their hand baggage allowance.

When traveling to the United States, you may carry the bottles with liquids, gels, liquors and/or aerosol bottles as personal items in case you purchase them at the duty free shops at Tocumen International Airport in Panama.
If the items are purchased at other airports, you must register them as checked baggage upon arrival in Panama, since this is the final point of departure to the United States.

For additional information and a complete list of items allowed and not allowed in carry-on and checked baggage, please visit our Restricted Baggage section.
