Are knee defenders allowed on Copa Airlines aircrafts?
At Copa Airlines, we are committed to your safety. That's why, on all our flights, we strictly prohibit the use of any device or object that could temporarily or permanently affect the functionality of any structure inside our aircraft cabins (rows of seats, tray tables, seatbacks, etc.). Knee defenders are considered one of these devices, and their use is prohibited on all Copa Airlines airplanes.
Passengers with disability due to severe allergies
If you have a disability due to a severe allergy, Copa Airlines will ensure that a buffer zone is set up to minimize the risk of exposure. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment during the flight.
A buffer zone is the area around your seat where the source of allergens is not in the same row, either in the front or back row. It does not include rows across the aisle.
You should request this assistance at least 48 hours before your flight departure through our Sales Offices or the Assitance request for disability due to a severe allergy form.
Note: This assistance is offered on flights to/from Canada, in compliance with Canada's Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulation.
